On the road again !!
So we came back from the Turks & Caicos Islands, to spend a few weeks in Holland preparing our European motorbike-tour.
First off all, sorry for all we did not meet, see, or called during our short stay here. But no worries, we won't be gone longer than 6 months... we think.... maybe...
The weeks here were filled with fixing bikes, shopping for goodies, meeting some family and friends.
The bikes are up and running !! We'll be traveling with a 1982 Kawasaki Z440 LTD and a 1977 BMW R60/7.
Thanks Martijn for doing most of the work on the BMW during my absence.
I was a bit worried when it looked like this :

But in the end it all worked out, and we have wheels !!!

So what is the plan ??
We leave through Belgium (Ardennes) to the east of France. Through the Lorraine, Elsace, Franche Comte, following the Dordogne river, and than one way or the other to Corsica. In Corsica we will spend a few weeks, visiting every corner of the island.
After Corsica there are a lot of options, and we will decide once we're there.

On this website we hope to keep you up to date where we are, and if we have found our little bit of paradise.
See you !!
Seb & Anne

Well its nice to hear from you again... I would be a little worried too if my bike was just the engine too, but it looks great with the other 'bits' added. Life here is just as hectic as ever with the weather causing exhaustion left, right and centre. But having said that we sat outside Fat Harry's last night with our Jack Daniels being watered down by a light shower that we all thought would be short lived - WRONG!!! How exciting - R A I N thought it was one weather condition that had become extinct. Today was delightfully overcast with showers, a small and hesitant thunder storm - which returned to fill us with joy and a touch of trepidation this evening - HURRAH! we cried the car will get washed.
I have joined the land of the 'gainfully and legally employed' well self-employed in the guise of a 'nail technician' playing with pots of nail varnish and acrylic all day what joy mmmmm, but it pays better than a diving instructor I can tell you. After all EVERONE has nails not everyone wants to dive! Charliy is now advanced open water diver and Jon and I are taking her to Sharm in Jan for a couple of weeks - 1st holiday in 3 years. Household pet count has increased by another cat, 1 bird and a whole tank of freshwater fish - all duly named according to species and personality - YES fish do have personalities and no were are not fattening them up for Christmas. Gill and Eric are living it up and down in Cyprus having a well earned break after having Josh with them for 8 weeks. Amii and Ayrton have their own flat in Msida and life on the whole is pretty much the same as when you left us - so THANKS for letting us know just how much better your life is - LOL joking... have a great tour and keep up the blog, any chance of having the small images posted linked to larger ones Seb or have you not worked out how to do that yet :o)
Love to you both, take care, be safe and beware the moon.
Love and kisses from No.10 Downing Street - ooops J Quintinus Street Malta...
xxx Alyson, Jon and Charliy
ps - 2 new wrecks sunk off Gozo, Xlendi side, the larger of the two had a stripped down VW Beetle mysteriously chained to it one night - think it was Ruperts second car!!
He ouwe knutselaars,
